Finger Lakes Cat Tales was founded in February 2022 as a 501C3 organization with a heartfelt mission: to serve Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, Seneca, Livingston, Yates, and Cayuga counties by providing a lifeline for abandoned cats, owner surrenders, and those at risk of becoming homeless. We are passionate about rehabilitating, nurturing, and finding forever homes for these precious feline friends.

Our rescues come to us from various sources, including colony feeding, compassionate owners and feeders who reach out, and through collaborations with other dedicated rescues. We are proud to be experienced trappers for Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, helping to control and improve the lives of community cats.
The Adoption Experience
At Finger Lakes Cat Tales, we believe in responsible adoptions. Our adoption process begins with an application, followed by vet references, thorough conversations, and even home visits, ensuring our cats find loving, forever homes. The welfare and happiness of our cats are paramount.
